I got my hearing tested today, because I’ve been having some problems with misunderstanding people lately and so I figured it’d be a good idea to know if I actually have a medical problem.
It turns out I have slight hearing loss at the higher frequencies that makes me likely to mis-hear words with sounds like “sh” and “f”, but nothing bad enough to get any medical help with the problem.
So next time you tell me to fut the shuck up, please enunciate.
duly noted!

Well isn't that interesting! You know that's exactly the same loss that Malcolm has. I'd be curious to compare your chart to his!

Kris - On both ears it's an upside-down-U shape, but it only dips below the normal range at the right-hand two bars, for my right ear. For my left ear it's the same shape but the lowest point is the lowest part of the normal range. So like on http://www.american-hearing.org/images/acoustic_audio.gif, my left ear is all in gray, but my right ear dips below gray for the 4000/8000.
