Jared: "Mommy can you carry me downstairs?"
Me: "hrm... and what will you do for me if I carry you downstairs?"
Jared: <thinks for a minute> "... Potty?"
Me: "OK!"
Jared: "...after dinner."
Me: "No, you have to go potty before dinner."
Jared: <thinks for a minute>" ...and I get an M&M?" (sounds like 'eminem')
Me: "No, you only get an M&M if you go pee in the potty"
Jared: <pause> "I think I'm going to go downstairs by myself"
